Key Food Ingredients, Inc., is a U.S. corporation that produces
premium-quality dehydrated Garlic, Onion and Vegetable ingredients in
China. KFI, Inc. is a privately held company and is headquarters in
Pasadena, California. The company owns and manages a vertically integrated
vegetable dehydration operation near the port city of Qingdao on the
Northeast coast of China. In operation for over 10 years, KFI has earned
an industry leadership position by supplying superior quality dehydrated
ingredients in a consistent, reliable manner. Their international
customers are served in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan,
Australia, Southeast Asia and Latin America.
Our guest speaker for the January 14th meeting is Ms. Nina Huang,
President of Key Food Ingredients. Ms Huang is a native of China and
currently holds residency in the US and in China. She earned her
undergraduate degree in Computer Sciences in China and hold an MBA from
the University of Chicago.
She will be sharing her insights with us relative to overcoming the
challenges of establishing a state-of-the-art facility with Good
Manufacturing Practices that meet the rigorous standards of the export
market.
This will be a valuable opportunity to get a glimpse of the pragmatic
approach of a company which has established their capability to
deliver on the promise of "best in class" quality from a Chinese
manufacturing operation.
