Bridging the Digital Divide in China
The Convergence of Electronic Markets, Freedom of Expression,
and the Role of Education

Reception followed by panel discussion

The Robert H. Smith School of Business and the Maryland-China Business Council proudly present a panel of experts from the sectors of government, education, and business to engage in discussion around the convergence and impact of globalization, technology and the entrepreneurial spirit. As global exchange and the growing Chinese consumer class evolve we are witness to a new dawn of utility of technology products and services within the marketplace. The strategies that entrepreneurs use to enter this market, the challenges they have had and likely will face in the future, and the impact of an increasingly decentralized (uncontrolled) communication infrastructure will be discussed by the panelists.
