HR Issues and Practices in China

CChina's fast-growing economy presents foreign companies and organizations numerous opportunities and challenges as they seek to establish and grow their businesses there. One of these challenges is being able to
attract and retain high quality employees at reasonable wages. While this is an ongoing issue for every organization in every country, China's uniquesituation and a variety of cross-cultural factors compound things significantly. A panel of experts from multinational corporations, including McCormick & Co., Procter & Gamble, Lion Brothers, Precision Product Groups, and Black and Decker, will share their experiences of current HR issues and practices in China.

Directions:

The Admin Bldg is located at the intersection of York Road and Cross Campus Drive. Enter from the side door, which will place you on the second floor. Walk down the hallway to the central steps and go to the fourth floor - via steps or elevator. Room 424 is located at the top of the steps. You will pick up a parking hangtag when you arrive. Park anywhere around the Administration Building except in reserved spots and spots for the Wellness Center.
