Investing in Chinese Equities
Reception followed by panel discussion

During the past several years returns on many of the Chinese equities available to U.S. investors as American Depositary Receipts and domestic Chinese "B" shares have outperformed the DJIA, the NASDAQ and the S&P 500. Reflecting investor interest in this growing market, a number of China focused mutual funds have also emerged in recent years. This panel discussion will bring together the editor of an investment publication specializing in Chinese equities, the representative of a large Baltimore based securities firm and a law professor from University of Maryland who is a recognized authority on the laws and regulations of China's securities markets. They will examine the different kinds of China investments available as well as the rewards and risks of investing in Chinese equities. If you are an individual or an investment manager involved in or contemplating investing in Chinese equities you should not miss this unique event.
