Join MCBC on Wednesday, January 20 for our Annual Meeting and election of the MCBC Board of Directors for 2010, and enjoy a special presentation by Mr. Yijun (Donald) Tan, president of China Telecom Americas Corporation.
China Telecom Americas is the largest international subsidiary of China Telecom Corporation Limited (NYSE: CHA) which, in turn, is one of China's largest domestic providers of voice, mobile and internet broadband services. Mr. Tan has been President here since 2006, building the company's relationships with U.S. corporations needing advanced data services and wholesale voice and managed services and leveraging its multi-billion dollar network investment in ChinaNet, CN2 and its global transport network. Mr. Tan, a graduate of Shanghai's Jiaotong University, is a senior member of the China General Chamber of Commerce - U.S.A., the Chinese equivalent to our American Chamber of Commerce in China.
