2012 MCBC Annual Meeting and
Special Presentation on
"China Business Opportunities and Challenges"

Join MCBC on Wednesday, January 25 for our Annual Meeting and election of the MCBC Board of Directors for 2012, and enjoy a special presentation by MCBC member Mr. David J. Hofmann, Senior Consultant and Director, North America, with InterChina Consulting. 

Founded in 1994, InterChina Consulting is a strategic and corporate advisory consultancy specializing in the China market.  InterChina has developed expertise in a number of sectors, including Renewable Energy, Automotive & Components, Machinery & Machine Tools, Chemicals, Energy & Power, Healthcare, Food & Beverage and Distribution Services.

Mr. Hofmann’s presentation will address the opportunities and challenges which foreign companies might expect to face in China in the year ahead; how to plan for and achieve further growth when working across multiple client segments, geographies and product offerings in China's dynamic and rapidly changing business environment.

A fluent Mandarin speaker well-versed in cross-cultural management, Mr. Hofmann has been with InterChina Consulting since 2005.  Prior to joining the consultancy, he held a variety of positions with Chindex International based in Beijing and Hong Kong, Dalian Morgan Refractories, based in Dalian, China as well as with Chrysler Motors Corporation based in Detroit.

Both MCBC members as well as non-members are welcome to attend, although only MCBC members in good standing as of the date of the Annual Meeting will be allowed to vote.
