April 2002 Monthly Meeting:
China and the WTO: Implications for US Business
SPEAKER:  Myron Brilliant
Vice President, Asia
U.S. Chamber of Commerce

Mr. Brilliant is responsible for developing and executing US Chamber programs and policies related to US trade and investment in the Asia trade arena.  He serves as the staff executive for the US Chamber’s China WTO Implementation Working Group.  China’s accession to the WTO late last year potentially opens the door to many new opportunities for US business, but there still are numerous challenges that foreign companies face as they pursue successful ventures in China.  How will China’s WTO membership change the business environment, and just what does that mean for US business?
