AGRIBUSINESS CHINA SEMINAR

The Maryland Department of Agriculture's International Marketing and Trade Development (IMTD) office is hosting a China Seminar 2002 on April 9, 2002 from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm in Room 114, 50 Harry S. Truman Parkway, Annapolis, MD.  China offers a potential new market of more than 1 billion consumers for Maryland companies, and IMTD is developing a strategy to explore this market.

Come and listen to what programs are offered through the State of Maryland and what opportunities there are for you in China.   This seminar will bring together a delegation from China and three Maryland organizations, including the Maryland-China Business Council, to speak to you about the opportunities for agribusiness in China to learn about programs that will assist you in breaking into the China market.  This seminar will give you the chance to meet with and talk to Chinese businessmen and Marylanders doing business in China.  For more information, please contact Nancy Wallace, International Trade Specialist, (410-841-5781 or via e-mail).
