AN EVENING AT THE CHINESE EMBASSY: EXPANDING BUSINESS RELATIONS WITH CHINA

November 13, 2002

Ambassador Yang Jiechi will host the event, addressing important developments such as the recent visit of President Chiang Zemin with President George W. Bush and China’s progress since its accession to the WTO. His remarks will be followed by a buffet dinner and DISCUSSION GROUPS wherein participants will be able to meet in small groups with representatives of various embassy departments who will explain how their offices work and answer questions on topics related to business with China; for example, legal, contract, investment, travel and human resource issues.

The nearest Metro stop is DuPont Circle/Red Line (a 10 to 15 minute walk). There is limited street parking available on nearby side streets.  

DATE AND TIME: November 13, 2002, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

COST: No charge for MCBC members, $50.00 for non-members. Buffet dinner.  

PRE-REGISTRATION: REQUIRED FOR ALL ATTENDEES BY November 8, 2002. Reservations will be billed unless canceled by November 11, 2002.
