Please
join Washington State Governor Gary Locke in welcoming The Honorable Liu
Jingmin, Vice Mayor of Beijing and Executive Vice President of the Beijing
Olympic Committee of the 2008 Olympic Games (BOCOG).
Vice Mayor Liu and other senior BOCOG representatives will be in Seattle
on Wednesday, September 24 for a one-day conference highlighting business
opportunities that are available to U.S. companies as Beijing prepares for
the 2008 Olympics and beyond.
Seattle
is the only U.S. city that the Vice Mayor and his team plan to visit this
year.
Attend this conference and find out how your company can
"compete for the gold" in Beijing.
There
is US$25 billion at stake and only a limited number of ways to obtain
information directly from BOCOG on how your company can be involved in the
2008 Beijing Olympics. If
your business is construction/contracting, energy, environmental services,
IT, telecommunications,
tourism/travel, or if it supports any of these sectors, you
cannot
afford to miss this opportunity.
Our
distinguished speakers from Beijing and the U.S. corporations will address
the attendees on the following important components of the Beijing
development process:
-
Overview
of Beijing Olympic plans
-
Technology
opportunities
-
Environmental
and energy opportunities
-
Infrastructure
opportunities
-
Enhancing
the games and related projects
