RE:                 Advanced Placement Program® (AP®) Chinese Language and Culture

The College Board and the People’s Republic of China are working together to promote multiculturalism and multilingualism in secondary school education.  Together they will announce the development and implementation of a new Advanced Placement course and examination in Chinese Language and Culture.  This follows on the announcement last month by the College Board of a new AP Italian program.

WHAT:     The College Board and the People’s Republic of China will announce the development of the new Advanced Placement Program (AP) Chinese Language and Culture Course and Examination.
