About the Maryland-China Business Council
The mission of the Maryland-China
Business Council is to provide opportunities for increased business understanding
and activity between the US and China, primarily assisting its members in
the US Mid-Atlantic region. Click here for a listing

To accomplish its mission, MCBC conducts a broad range of activities including regular monthly meetings, symposia, seminars, banquets, workshops and hosting of Chinese delegations. Monthly meetings feature one or more recognized experts addressing current business issues. Topics range from consideration of the opportunities and challenges of establishing a joint venture in China to issues of interest to a particular industry, such as software outsourcing.
MCBC is particularly proud
of its many working relationships with both US and Chinese entities relating
to doing business with China. Many of these offer special access or networking
opportunities for Council members.
For example, the ongoing relationship with the Chinese Embassy and its key
officials has been significant and rewarding for MCBC members. It has been
manifested by numerous events hosted at the Chinese Embassy for MCBC members
and by annual outings hosted by MCBC for Embassy staff.
Also of note are joint activities with MCBC as co-sponsor or co-organizer
with the US Department of Commerce, the Maryland Department of Business and
Economic Development, the World Trade Center Institute and many others.
MCBC membership is a proven benefit for any individual or organization with current or potential interests in the China market.
