Click the option you want and then the Join button, if you join on-line you will be asked to provide a credit card. Please keep in mind that MCBC has a pro-rated dues policy for individuals who join during the last third of a year -- the months of September, October, November and December. Our on-line system will automatically calculate your pro-rated dues amount if you are joining the organization during these months. Corporate members who join in the last half of the year get a great beneft--you pay the regular dues amount but your membership won't expire until december of the following year. General Member Benefits:

Professional Member ($100)

 For individuals. You receive all the general member benefits. Individual membership is ONLY for those with no business interest in China. If you are doing business in or with China, your organization must join as a Corporate Member. (If you are joining in October, November or December, your 2008 dues will be prorated and added to the full amount of your 2009 dues. For a schedule of prorated dues, please see the application form.)
Student Member (Free)
 For individuals who are full time students. You receive all the general member benefits and must provide the name of your educational institution to qualify for the free membership. Student membership is for those who are full-time students and have no business interest in China.
Corporate Member ($350)

For organizations, with a business interest in China. You receive all general members benefits, plus:

  • Representative(s) of corporate member organization may present organization at one MCBC event, where such activities are scheduled.
  • Corporate Members may request links from their listing on the MCBC WWW site to their corporate sites.
  • Corporate Members may be highlighted on the MCBC homepage.
  • Any number of corporate members' associates may attend MCBC events at the discounted member rate.
  • Corporate members may be invited to participate in special events as appropriate.
Contributing Member ($675)

For organizations with a business interest in China. You receive all general members benefits, all corporate member benefits, plus:

  • Priority notices of special events.
  • Invitation for one person to meetings with or receptions for VIP members of delegations or other groups.
    Contributing status listed prominently on MCBC announcements.

 
Sponsoring Member ($1,300)

For organizations with a business interest in China. You receive all benefits for all other classes, plus:

  • Priority notices of special events.
  • Invitations for two people to meetings or receptions for VIP members of delegations or other groups.
  • Seating of corporate representative at head tables at banquets or other special events.
  • Sponsoring status listed prominently on MCBC announcements.
